The renewal trick

Business Premium
Security, bought like everything else.
Business Premium adds Defender for Business, Intune device management and conditional access. The plan most small firms are told they need and then sold through a meeting. We sell it online, £15.55 per user per month, ex VAT, against Microsoft’s £16.90.

First suite increase since 2022. Standard goes to £10.80, Basic up 17%. Buy annual upfront before then and you fix £8.83 for the 12-month term. After the rise we are still under Microsoft, £9.94 against their £10.80.
If it costs less, what is the catch?
There is no catch. These are the same Microsoft 365 licences, bought through Microsoft's official partner channel. We run lean and share the margin instead of running intro offers that jump at renewal. With the others, the catch is the renewal price.
Will switching break our email?
No. Licences attach to your existing Microsoft tenant. Your mail, files and Teams stay exactly where they are. If you are in a provider-managed tenant, we guide the move, and a paid migration is available.
Why pay a year upfront?
Annual upfront is the lowest price and it fixes your rate for the 12-month term, which matters with Microsoft raising list prices on 1 July 2026. If you prefer flexibility, monthly flexible costs about 20% more and you can resize or cancel at each monthly renewal.
What if I need fewer seats later?
Microsoft's subscription rules apply to every reseller, including us. Seat decreases are only allowed within the first 7 days or at renewal. We say this upfront rather than burying it. Adding seats and upgrading from Standard to Premium work any time.
I have never heard of you. Who are you?
Dead Simple 365 is operated by Dead Simple Computing Ltd, a UK Microsoft 365 reseller. UK support is 9 to 5 weekdays. Checkout is business only, and prices are shown ex VAT.
Can I just stay with Microsoft direct?
You can, and from 1 July 2026 you will pay £10.80 for Business Standard against £9.94 with us, with no human to call. We stay below Microsoft's list price before and after the rise.
Do I keep control of my own tenant?
Yes. Licences land in your own Microsoft tenant, never a provider-managed one. You keep ownership of your users, mail and data, and you can leave at any time with nothing to untangle.
